Senior Women

Edinburgh Cricket Club has a proud history of women's cricket at the club. First taking the park in 2000, Edinburgh's womens side has grown strongly in recent years. Following a historic double consisting of the North West Premiership & the T20 Premiership the women were promoted to the Cricket Victoria WCCC Shield competition.

The ECC women's side plays in the Cricket Victoria Women's Community Cricket One Day Shield and T20 competitions. We play mainly on Sunday afternoons begining at 1:00pm at the Brunswick St Oval in Edinburgh Gardens.

There are no minimum or maximum age restrictions, and the team welcomes cricketers of all abilities and interests.

In 2018/19 the Edinburgh's women's side trains at the Brunswick Street Oval nets on Thursday evenings throughout cricket season, October through March.

During the season training starts at 5:30pm and goes until about 7pm.  Selection of teams is made after training on the Thursday before each match.  The senior women's selection policy is available here.
