Woolworths Cricket Blast

Woolworths Cricket Blast replaces the Milo in2CRICKET program. The Cricket Blast program is designed to link into the junior cricket programme at Edinburgh which starts at U10.

There are two programs available:
The Junior Blasters program teaches girls and boys the skills to play Australia's favourite sport, through fun game based activities. Participants receive a shirt, bucket hat, plastic bat, rubber ball, sticker sheet and skill scorecard which is sent directly to your home address. A plastic bat is also provided, though Cricket Australia sends these to the club so we can present to the kids at the first welcome session.
For boys and girls learning the basic skills of the game (approx. age 5-7)
Opportunities for Parent Involvement
Teaches basic cricket skills
60 minute sessions
Minimum 6 week program
All equipment provided
Fun and safe environment
Caters for children with a disability

At Master Blasters level, kids get a chance to play modified games of cricket in a fun and social setting. Master Blasters participant packs consist of a participant cap and skill scorecard and will be sent to your home address. The club will provide each child with their own Edinburgh playing top which will be presented at the first welcome session.
Perfect for boys & girls who can bowl with a straight arm over 14m
Age range is generally between 7-10 but will vary based on ability and experience
Opportunities for Parent Involvement
Includes modified games of cricket
Minimum of 6 games with each session lasting up to 90 minutes
All equipment provided
Everyone gets a chance to bat, bowl and field
Girls only teams, as well as mixed teams are available
Caters for children with a disability
